Boy oh boy, have I been dying to share these photos with you! I’m a huge fan of high tea (even though I’ve only gone once) and have been meaning to find a place in Boston for awhile. Thankfully, I came across the cutest little tearoom in Salem while doing some research on instagram. It’s called the Jolie Tea Room, for those who might be in the area. I know Salem is known for its witchy vibes, but each time I go back, I fall deeper in love with the character of the city overall!

In usual Sarah Anne fashion, I spent a solid 48hrs coming up with the perfect look for the occasion. How does one simply go to a tea room without spending hours prepping for the event? I sure as heck don’t understand that mentality!

I knew I wanted to wear my lemon printed skirt but finding a skirt was just.. really hard for some reason? Then I remembered I had this darling pussybow blouse that I grabbed from Shein. I had no idea if it would fit, but it did with more than enough room to spare. Honestly, I’m kind of super impressed with Shein these days. My first impression of them was just… so bad and now I’m truthfully in love. I have a big ole box that I’m going to be hauling from so stay tuned!

I wanted to channel Paris on a summer day with this look. It helped that Jolie Tea Room had a strong overtone of Parisienne inspired decor. I think I did a mighty fine job, and now I’m obsessed with making my whole summer wardrobe Parisienne inspired. I know I’ve been raving how Halloween the last few weeks, but I’ve grown since that. I don’t know who that girl is anymore!

What are your favourite Summer trends? I know we’re coming to a close but, we still have plenty of time to enjoy the season!
