Hey Guys! So I’ve been pretty dress obsessed lately. I have just really found some really beautiful pieces this spring/summer. If you haven’t stepped up your dress game yet, now would be the time. Today I’ve got you covered with 3 picks from Simply Be that work for some of the most common plus body types.
We are all made up of different shapes and sizes. And I know that whole idea of dressing to flatter your shape is dated but I like to think of it as a guide and not a rule. So here we go!
Pear Shaped: For those with a waist narrower than your bust. You have fuller hips and thighs. Most of your weight is carried in your hips and bottom (Hips don’t lie)! The polka dot number below is perfect for you. Being a pear shape myself I’m always drawn to these type silhouettes. That accentuatee your waist and skirt nicely over you bottoms areas.

Hourglass: Your bust and hip measurements are relatively even. If I got those implants right out of college like I had planned, I would definitely have an hourglass figure going on right now lol! Anyway the dress below would be a knock out option for the hourglass shape. There’s enough coverage on top and the bottom is sleek. It accentuates the waist slightly with the allusion of a crop top. The sweetheart neckline accentuates the décolletage and bust. It’s pretty much perfect.

Apple : Your weight is evenly distributed. Your shoulders are broader than your hips. More likely to not have full hips. No well defined waisline but your legs are on point! I love this dress for apple shapes because it solid black which I love. It’s still fitted so your not hiding in it but it allows for more confidence while wear being black.

Again, all of these dresses are from Simply Be. They have a TON of dresses for all shapes. As you can see as a pear shaped woman I’m wearing all three dresses and they look great. Reiterating the point that you can wear what you want.
