I must admit, I love creating these lipstick posts. It’s not because of my lipstick obsession, but because I always find one or two that I have not worn in a while. Today’s post is all about Fall lipstick options that are perfect for dark skin tones. Whether it’s Fall or not, I tend to gravitate toward darker lipstick shades. It doesn’t mean that darker shades are better on dark skin, just a personal choice. The darker the color the more drama it adds to your face. The options are endless and picking only four out my collection was not easy.
Rouge Infusion Lip Stain #12 Cherry Nectar by Sephora
Long-lasting, smooth, and matte. Out of all the lip stains I’ve ever used, this Rouge Infusion Lip Stain stays on forever and do not crack. By forever, I mean you actually have to use a makeup remover to take it off. The color is just gorgeous on dark skin.
Nicka K Vivid Matte Lipstick – #14 Maroon
Matte finished are my favorite especially the ones that do not leave your lips dry. This highly pigmented lipstick from the Nicka K Vivid Matte collection is perfect for day and night.
Nicka K Vivid Matte Lipstick – #15 Slate Gray
This is my go to when I need a little drama, but don’t want to go fully dark. Just like the one above, It’s creamy matte and doesn’t leave your lips dry.
Rimmel Lasting Finish – #124 Bordeaux
The burgundy/plum color of this one makes it an absolute must have for Fall. The only problem is it’s not as long lasting as it claims. You might need a few retouches during the day. Update: After I took the photos, I found out that this shade has been discontinued :(.
