The holidays are just around the corner! I don’t want to get you worried or anything, but we are just 16 days away from Christmas. This is where you insert panic mode for those of us who are a little behind in our gift shopping. The good news is, we finally got our tree and decorations up from the basement to the family room this week. This year, I’ve decided to let the kids and their dad decorate the big tree while I take care of other things like shopping, and organizing the house for family gatherings.
Are you almost done with your shopping? Things get crazy around this time of year for everyone, especially when you throw work, kids, travel into the mix. Christmas shopping can be fun, as long as you don’t leave it right to the last minute. As much as I love receiving presents, I love giving them and each year I find it harder to come up with a perfect and meaningful gift on the budget for my loved ones. Something that is unique without the high price tag.
Thanks to the Chatelaine Gift Guide, my gifting list is now underway. Some of us have mastered the art of gifting while many of us struggle with finding the right one especially for that one family member that has everything or for the men in our lives. The Chatelaine 2016 Gift Guide is the perfect one stop to find gifts that are unique at reasonable prices. Every year, they launch a curated list of hundreds of gift ideas under $100 both online and in print. You’ll find something for the book lovers, gifts made in Canada, for foodies, for kids of all ages and much more…
As a blogger, it feels good to let someone else do the hard work for me. I am so excited to pick some small items from this list to group together in a homemade gift basket for my mother. I already ordered a little something for my husband , but can’t tell you because he reads this blog sometimes.Happy Holiday shopping!!
