Something about summer makes me crave a good burger. What better place to get a nice juicy burger than Johnny Rockets. I love the diner and retro motif of Johnny Rockets. What a great way to spend a summer afternoon enjoying a cheeseburger, fries and shake. Although sometimes you want to mix it up and try something new. Johnny Rockets will soon introduce a new vegetarian menu with a veggie burger option in the fall. I was invited to a taste test at a local Johnny Rockets to help select the veggie burger option that will be served. We tasted 5 different patty options and scored them on juiciness, texture and flavor. I am not vegetarian or vegan, but do enjoy a veggie burger. Sometimes you just want something a little lighter or healthy with out feeling deprived. Johnny Rockets will provide 4 protein options with their burgers; farm raised beef, farm fresh chicken, turkey and now a Boca veggie burger. I am excited to see if my favorite will be selected for the new menu. You will have to wait until the fall to enjoy the new veggie burger option. Good to know now everyone will be able to enjoy the Johnny Rockets experience. Keep reading to see what the burger will look like. Can't wait to find out which burger will be on the menu!

Since I was going to be taste testing some burgers I wanted to make sure to wear my stretchy pants. Nothing wrong with a little elastic waist to adjust as needed. I wanted to be comfortable and still look stylish, because this was a proper taste test and giving our honest opinion was important. I had plenty of room in these floral wide pants. I haven't worn them much because they get really wrinkled and not having an iron makes it difficult. I finally bought a nice steamer from Joy Mangano, its made a huge difference in my wardrobe. Finally I will be able to wear all my clothes that were too wrinkled. I know seems funny that I don't own an iron or ironing board, but living in a loft my space is limited. More on the steamer later because it has opened up a whole new world of possibilities with my wardrobe...ha ha ha
This outfit was not planned, just like many other things in my life. I ended throwing it together last minute, some how it worked out. I actually really love the way it turned out. Mixing patterns was something that kinda scared me a few years ago. I feared looking ridiculous wearing different patterns and prints together. Until of course I tried it and now its one of my fave looks. It's funny how as we age things that made us nervous or scared when we're younger no longer do. The last thing I worry about these days is what other people will think of me. Wish we could have this mind set as teens or young adults, but that life's process of growing and maturing. I am still growing and learning, but I have become more open to new things and experiences. Like eating veggies burger, the younger me would have thought it was gross and not even attempt to taste it. So with food and fashion, we should experience new things that will help us grow and evolve. It's good to mix it up, try new things and enjoy everything life has to offer. Remember #UntamedStyle is about living with out boundaries and making your own rules! Whether its about food or fashion, enjoy every last morsel!
