I’ve been gifted two glorious dresses recently, and they both made me feel like a Disney princess! And so this picture rich post will hopefully give you a taste of the look and movement of these pieces, and if you are in the market for a show stopper of a dress then maybe one of these is for you!

First up we have this glorious green Giles Deacon dress from Evans.

I received this incredible dress in a size 16, and after falling in love with it several months ago I am pleased to say that it really lives up to my initial adoration of it!

It fits me perfectly in the bust and around the arms, but it is a little baggy on the waist. I think if I were to wear it to an event I would probably have it taken in at the waist for an absolutely flawless look.

The dress is lined and the skirt is nice and full – but not full enough for it to blow up in a gust of wind – as sampled by the river the other day! It zips at the back where there is a beige panel that adds a little something different, and conceals bra straps.

The colour is absolutely amazing, and the vibrancy and sheen made me go ‘ooh’ when I first pulled it out of the bag. The decadent feel made me decide to pair it with some strappy Primark heels and earrings and a hair piece from Accessorize – perfect! And I was of course all class at the end of the shoot….

Next up we have The Melissa dress from Fame&Partners.

This dress has been custom made for my bust and waist measurements (which I simply sent to the company) and it really does fit like a glove!

I teamed the dress with a Curvy Kate Luxe bra, but if you were slightly more firmer busted you might fancy chancing this braless, as there is some great structure in the dress!

The dress is a fabulous blue/purple colour, and it has two thigh high slits at the front – although, the amount of fabric stops them being overly obvious which is perfect. The sleeves are meant to be worn completely off the arm, but I prefer them a little shorter and so I tucked them in at the back.

This dress is pretty long, and that adds to the luxurious feel of it. It’s an absolutely amazing creation and I need someone to invite me to a fabulous party so that I can rock it!

And let’s be honest, I will just throw it around all night!

What do you think of these beautiful dresses? Where would you wear them? I would love to know!
